Our firm carries the surname of the founder Dr. Hans J. Frankus, German Public Accountant and Tax Advisor. He left Arthur Andersen in 1979 and started his own business with one staff and a secretary. At that time he focused on inbound international clients. Today, FRANKUS Public Accountants, Tax Advisors, Lawyers PartGmbB, a limited liability professional partnership has 6 partners and counts more than 75 team members. Still, international clients are our strongest pillar but we have expanded our client base to medical services, domestic large businesses, family offices and also local retail stores.
Since 1982 we focus on the Japanese business community in Germany. With more than 200 Japanese corporate clients we have a market share following the Big 4. FRANKUS is proud to have 7 Japanese speaking professionals there of 3 Public Accountants (a German, a Japanese and an US qualification), one German certified management accountant and one legal staff.
